Lets make easy tasty pineapple rice using a few ingredients
All you need is a few ingredients
2 Cups of Jasmine Rice, Small Fresh Pineapple, 1/4 cup of Frozen Peas, 1/4 Cup of chopped fresh carrot 1/4 Cup of Red onion, 1 teaspoon of curry powder, and 1/4 cup of low of low sodium soy sauce
I used a fresh pineapple for that semi sweet taste. I have tried canned pineapple and it was too sweet but if you prefer a sweeter taste use canne.
So let’s get started, the first thing I did was cook my rice. Use your rice directions to get a beautiful pot of rice made. While your rice is cooking chop up your onion,pineapple and carrot in to cubes or whatever size you prefer. After your rice is done set it to the side to cool down. I then got a pan added 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil and carrot, rice. Fry the rice and carrots in the oil olive add soy sauce and pineapple. Stir well add more soy sauce if needed(base on your taste) finally add pea mix well! Reduce heat grab your bowl and enjoy!
I personally am striving to be a vegan but if you are a meat eater add chicken, shrimp or beef. I know that will make the flavor more intense. Also I would also add bean sprout the next time I make it!
